A message to Nova Scotia nursing homes, continuing care sector, during Covid-19

As the Covid-19 pandemic unfolds, our thoughts are with everyone on the frontlines, many of whom we were looking forward to working with in the months ahead.

This is obviously an unprecedented time, and our collective focus is on slowing the spread of this disease and protecting the most vulnerable among us — something we know you’re doing on a day-by-day, minute-by-minute basis.

We’re with you and behind you.

The safety and well-being of your residents and employees has always been at the forefront of our intentions with Paraglide, and that remains.

Given where your focus must be in the weeks and possibly months ahead, our pre-order deadline of April 1, 2020, for Nova Scotia nursing homes and home care service providers licensed by the provincial government has been put on hold.

This postponement of pre-orders will affect our timelines for production and installation, but we’ll take our cues from the Continuing Care sector and government officials, and get back to planning production when it’s appropriate to do so.

To everyone working tirelessly on the frontlines, you have our deepest respect and gratitude.
